Choosing a desire job is one thing
that everyone must consider carefully in the start. Lack of
thoughts might lead you to a career that you don’t expect
it to be.
1: Reliability of the company.
Reliability of the company is the main consideration that we
have to consider when applying a new job. But how would we know
if the company we’re about to apply is really reliable?
Several points that we can assess are by checking the annual
report. Company’s profit, capital and cash flow can determine
how much reliability the company has. For small organization,
we have to consider not only the points mentioned but also other
additional aspect as well.
2: Welfare & Salary
Many company pays only monthly salary, some also include extra
working payment, and some provide with good welfare but paying
a lower salary. All new candidates must understand deals of
all company applying and compare them one by one.
3: Working environment
Working environment is one of the aspect that everyone candidate
should consider when applying for a new job. Try to observe
the place and see the overall surrounding of the company. If
the location was comfortable as expect or better then it a good
sign of that company to have a good working environment. Environment
could have a huge effect on candidate’s mental condition.
4: Working atmosphere
Candidate who left the previous job because of bad working atmosphere,
then candidate should consider this point very carefully. Atmosphere
here means the feeling that you got from working place, this
could include colleagues attitude as well. It would be good
if you can get some information about the work place such as
how many colleagues are working with you? What is the company
cultural or basic procedure? Character of the superior and etc…
This should help you get some ideas of how the atmosphere will
be like when you actually working there.
5: Principle and target in working
New candidate should understand company’s principle and
target clearly. We need to know whether the principle and target
is the same as yours or not, because in working, if you have
different target from the organization, then you probably won’t
be happy working.
6: Progress and development
Every employee must think about their success in career they
are attending, and of course to be success you must have progress
in work to be able to develop yourself. Never just join a company
without considering this aspect. If the organization is not
support with your career development then there’s not
much that you can do to upgrade your career life.
7: Travelling distance
Distance is one of the main issues that cause problem with employees.
You must think whether the location of your work is too far
or not? Because this could affect your performance such as,
being late to work, travelling fees are too expensive, not reasonable
pay compare to payment received, physically tired before and
after working and etc…
